Starting From Zero, The True Journey

Well hello everyone. My name is Travis.

This blog is all about me, and my screw ups…. well maybe not about the screw ups but you sure are going to hear about them along the ride. Right now I am somewhere in the neighborhood of humm lets say $60,000 in debt. Yea you read that correctly. It ranges from credit card debt, student loans, and even hospital bills.

You can see why the blog title, Starting From Zero was chosen.

The goal is simple, get out of debt, and do it without spending much money at all… because well… I DON’T HAVE ANY! I will be using 2 things, both are huge assets to me, namely my computer and my brain. (in that order?) Well you get the point.

That being said, It would probably be best to tell you a little about me and how I dug myself in the huge hole that I am in right this second as I am typing. The debt started freshman year of college and just continued to build, yes, not very smart, but I am not here to talk about my fuck ups negatively, I’m just telling you so you know the full story.

My senior year of college I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Synovial Sarcoma. It was a tumor on my back that had been there for a while and I just pretty much ignored it until the pain got too much to bare. I ended up missing that year of school due to 3 months of chemo therapy, followed by radiation treatments.

Man am I glad that is over with, if you wanna know what hell is like, try chemo for a few months. No wait, don’t. That was 3 years ago now, and I am cancer free and in remission. So don’t be sitting there feeling bad for me. Well maybe you all will be reading this and I will be filthy rich, and well of course you won’t be feeling bad for me then

Yea so I’m in debt, and I’m going to change that. I’m Starting From Zero, and stopping well, when I can buyout Bill Gates. Yea I said it.

Anyway, This blog is going to be about well me and my adventures in the computer world, aka $$$$ world. Yea well thats the truth of it. Computers = Money, and lots of it. I started learning about Adsense and blogging about 2 weeks ago today, and well let me start off by saying, CONFUSING!!!!

Well thats enough for now, because I need to go back to reading the forums at The Blog Solutions (one of the spamming blog forums) because I need to learn how that works, even if I don’t use that type of black hat method of posting links.
