Tips On Article Submission I Have Learned This Week
So I haven’t posted in quite some time. Do not fret, I am back, as I know you missed me. Anyway, I have been gathering information on article submission this past week. The information has come from various sources which I will touch on briefly.
Over at the Digital Point Forums many discussions go on about which article directories are the best to submit to. Literally the lists are like 500 long, and very intimidating to say the least. I used to use an automatic article submitter program from Submit Suite, but since I have stopped due to the advice from a friend over at Vancouver SEO Specialist.
He had brought up some very good ideas after I had messaged him on the forums. Things about the fact that Google does not like it if all of the sudden there are an abundance of links to your site in a short period of time, which is exactly what happens when you do such things as automatic article submission. Also most of the article directories are just there for advertising and don’t even bother to review your articles, so they have no chance of being published.
Another friend of mine, Mike Bradbury in one of the threads at Digital Point, posted that he uses a Firefox plug-in called Fireform. This is just a plug-in to make the submission easier, but things like category selection and entering the codes at the bottom are left up to the user, which is good. Google is really cracking down on automatic article submission things, and that’s why I really wanted to get away from doing that.
So now I am going to do the next step in Mike Bradbury’s advice email to me, which I will post later, finding blogs relevant to my website.
